GAL FURLAN - REMAINS (2023)
Minimal/experimental solo album The idea for this solo album came after a performance with Nicolas Caloia and Lori Freedman on 20.OCT.2023 at Klub Štala, when I was going to a performance with the Gal Furlan Quartet on 25.OCT.2023. The idea, or the challenge, was to use only those instruments left over from the concert with Nicolas and Lori on the solo album, or that I didn't use in my drum set at the performance with the quartet. I say challenge because there were very few instruments left and it is not easy to make a meaningful "picture" out of it that lasts at least 30 minutes.
